I am a game developer who is about to finish college, I’m extroverted, super friendly, and I love game design (I'm the one on the far left). I have alsways aspired for something game related to ever since I was a kid. I programmed my own Minecraft mods at the age of 14 and haven’t looked back. After high school I went to college for Game Design and here I am!
I am currently attending SUNY CANTON for a Bachelors degree in Game Design and Development. I’ve created a bunch of indie projects at my time here and I have them listed below!
I started the Game Design Club at my school. I wanted to create a club for students who wanted to make games but didn’t know how to ignite that spark. So I wanted to give people a reason to make games. It took quite a bit of time to establish and develop into what it is today!
I first joined the Scouts at eight years old and stuck with it all the way up until eighteen. I then proceeded to complete all the requirements, merit badges, and finally, my Eagle Scout Project. For my Eagle Scout Project I constructed a cabinet to hold personal protective equipment in for my High School. With the extra money bought three 3D printers to make face masks with (they were cloaser to visors). At the end of the project i donated the 3D printers to the Kings Park Robotics Club (First Robotics Team 5736) for use in thier lab.
I created this in a game jam for the Game Design Club. I wanted to inspire our new members to put themselves out there by making a short, sweet, fun game. This is a platform with exactly one level. The only thing that changes between levels is the abilities you have, and it is all about navigating the same space with different capabilities. All the art was done by my friend Jesse Daniels.
This game is still in development. It is a horror game that swaps the roles of monster and player.
Me and some of the members of game design club collaborated to make a small character creator for people to be able to walk up, make a character, and put it in the "Fishbowl." I worked on the making sure the player interactable end was fully functional and looked nice!
This was a game created as a collective effort by the game design club. We were invited to help entertain children at a children’s holiday party for SUNY Canton. We took that as an invitation to see if we could come up with something fun. What we came up with was an Internet runner, where you had to try to grow your snowball as big as possible. Everyone who came to the station said they loved it, including the event organizer and her son.
